Assalamualaikum WBT,
I am not listening to the speech given by YB Dato' Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek, ex-Minister of Ministry of Youth and Sports 2013. Well, well, well, I just heard this thing,
"Do not look K-POP as one event because we had more than 500 programmes conducted.."
"We paid the K-POP artists USD$100,000, which about RM900,000.00".
OMG! OMG! OMG!
Do really think that is relevant? We, here, in Malaysia with multiracial and yet they chose K-POP artists to performed at the Youth Day 2012? We have tonnes of artists with multiracial and I bet the artists and celebrities in Malaysia are furious with that explanation.
If that RM 900,000.00 spent on the Malaysian artists, so, it would be so much better and do you really think that the patriotism spirit that was tried to fertilize by the minister and his team (was) is a success? Dont see it in terms of economy or the rebound that the people managed to get. Do you really think that its a success?
I love you Malaysia but the government has to be very creative to get the attention WITHOUT spending millions, how? Well, its you job, if i were to think for you, well, stop being a minister and get involve more on the PELAKSANA Team, okay? See how it goes..
Assalamualaikum WBT
